I'm currently pursuing a PhD in neurobiology at the University of Chicago; studying anatomical, molecular, and behavioral changes associated with drug addiction and learning/memory. Reading, writing, and research take up most of my time, but whenever I have a little to spare I grab my camera and go.

As my photos suggest, I am interested in photographing patterns in nature and architecture, at both macro and mega scales. Today I shoot primarily with my Nikon D80 using a variety of lenses and filters. I also use a Nikon N80, Canon PowerShot SX100IS, and Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ10.

Thanks for viewing my photos and if you have any questions, please ask! Also, if you are interested in purchasing any of my photographs, let me know!
